Proper pruning promotes tree health, extends lifespan, and reduces storm risk — but it has to be done correctly.

We follow ANSI A300 pruning standards on every job. That means no topping, no flush cuts, no lion-tailing — the practices that look cheap now but cost you the tree in 5 years. Joe's arborist certification means he knows where to cut and, just as importantly, where not to.

Stump Grinding

Leftover stumps are eyesores, trip hazards, and termite magnets. We grind them below grade and clean up the chips.

Our stump grinder reaches tight residential spaces and can handle stumps of any size — from old citrus trees to large-canopy oaks. We can grind the same day as your removal or schedule a standalone stump job on existing stumps.

Palms are a staple of the First Coast landscape — and one of the most over-trimmed trees in Florida.

Correct palm pruning removes only brown, dead fronds — never green ones (a practice called "hurricane cutting" that actually increases wind resistance and stunts the tree). We trim to ANSI standards, keeping your palms healthy, safe, and looking right for the Florida coast.
